Wednesday: Dave Gobey ran a BBB trip to Uruhau Pa, Rhine St and Tawa Ridge. The weather was light and blowy; they had great views, from the snowy Kaikouras to the Tararuas. 11 members.
Stuart Hudson led a nice easy sociable trip along Waengapu Ridge, north to south. 8 members, 1 non-member.
The Popplewells led a trip to explore the city hills. Bright but rather breezy day to British Peak, Johnson's Hill and Wrights Hill . 9 members.
Weekend: Diane Head led a trip to Totara Flats Hut. The walk in on Saturday was drizzly but not unpleasant, and they had gorgeous weather on Sunday for the walk out. 6 members, 1 non-member. E/M
Family: Tom White led an adult weekend tramp for Dads. ... E/M
Saturday: Chris Horne led a walk to Whiorau, Towai Park and Haywards scenic reserve, a 5.5 hour blend of on-track and off-track walking. 5 members. M
Sunday: Alan Corry's Titahi Bay walk went well, south toward Makara with lovely weather. 9 members, 1 non-member. E
Robin Chesterfield led an OTE on Sunday, scouting routes for SAR in the area of Pukeatua ridge above South Mangaone. 2 members, 1 non-member. M/F
Ski: The ski weekend was cancelled because of bad weather.
