Days Bay, Battle Hill Puketiro Loop

E walk about Days Bay led by Margaret Foden 9 members and 1 non-member
After a glass shattering ferry ride we met at Days Bay Pavilion for coffee and scones. Some arrived after a hill walk & we finally ended with 10 people (1 ex member). A short bush walk concluded the day.
EM trip to Battle Hill and Puketiro Loop led by Marg Pearce. 8 members
Eight members tramped some little-known areas of Battle Hill's Puketiro Loop, including some mountain bike tracks. The weather was most satisfactory, with only the slightest wind-blown spots of rain. The Abbott trig was a shock as all the trees around had been cut down and we could see what seemed like the whole world while we ate our lunch. About five hours total.
