Wednesday:Bob Stephens led a trip in the Otaki forks area. They did not get as far as they expected, as tops were in mist. And no-one fancied descending almost vertical slope close to the lunch spot, with 11 people.

Franz Hubmann led a fit trip to the Peak in the Orongorongo River, numbers were not reported.

Kath Kerr reported lunch was a success, with 7 members.

Jean Morgan led a trip of wanderers on a pleasant circuit around the Mirimar Peninsula, scorching Bay, The fort, Massey Memorial and down to Centennial Park and the bus stop, with 12 members.

Weekend:Pip Newton ran a Northern Circuit originally over Nov 18th to 21st. We went in an anticlockwise direction starting and finishing at Whakapapa village. We were very lucky with the weather because for the first 2 days there were gales on the tops and they shut the crossing section. We had very good weather crossing on the third day with fantastic views of all 3 mountains and also Taranaki in the distance. Even though it is a very popular trail it is a fantastic trip in any season, in either direction, camping or hutting. If you haven't done it yet - do it. If you have its worth doing again, with 3 members

Sunday: Chris Horne led a at trip around the Pauatahanui Inlet from Mana station, the Camborne Walkway, Te Ara Piko on the north side of the inlet to Pauatahanui Village where the had a conducted tour of the 1897 Church by Rev Graeme Ogilvie (David’s brother) and back to the station, with 9 members and 1 non-member.

Jenny Olsen led a cycle trip form Pekakariti to Raumati where they enjoyed coffee at a member’s home. Then on to the Waikanae River. They return along the expressway cycleway followed by the inland rout to Pekakari, finishing at the leader’s home, 50 km total and a bit more for some keen ones, with 10 members.

Total 51 members and 1 non member.
