Wednesday: Colin Cook ran a trip to Orongorongo weir, with 11 members
Eleven members braved cold and wet yesterday and duly became cold and wet. Their walk along the WRC Pack Track to the Orongorongo weir was halted by a flooded Telephone Creek the crossing of which was deemed to be too risky. So after a hasty stand-up lunch they turned around and headed for the hot showers.
Thanks to Grant Timlin for kindly facilitating the trip into the water catchment area.

Sunday: Brian Hasell ran an easy/medium trip along the Southern walkway on Sunday 14 October The Sunday EM Trip from South Karori Park to Raroa Station Johnsonville had 12 members and 2 non-members and enjoyed great views and fine weather on the Skyline track. For new member Karun Shenoy this was his first trip- we hope to see him regularly. Total 23 members and 2 non members
