Wed 11 Underhill Rd, Frith, Abbotts Creek M John Thomson
Thirteen of us (all but one members) had a very satisfactory trip yesterday from the Tauherenikau Gorge car park over the long high ridge and down to Abbotts Stream; no wind and good views till a little drizzle fell after one o'clock.
Wed 11 Smith’s Creek track – Bush Spur – Dobsons track E/M Michael Bartlett
I led the scheduled EM trip last Wednesday via a bush spur between the Smith Creek Track and the Dobson Track, taking just over 4 hours. Weather conditions marginal with only one brief shower.There were 9 members and 2 non-members. Some of the group had not been off-track before and I think their appetite for doing this in future was whetted..
