Tramping Reports Wednesday 2010 Sep 22 to Tuesday 2010 Sep 28
Wednesday: Judith Claridge ran a BBB trip to the Hutt River Trail, with 4 members. It was a very fine day but with an icy wind blowing up the valley at times.
Barbara Ogilvie led an E/M trip to Long Gully, 16 members.
Bill Wheeler's Holdsworth-Jumbo M/F trip was changed to Kime, as the Rimutaka Hill was closed. 6 members found lots of snow above Field Hut, down nearly to the bush edge.
Weekend:
Diane Head led 5 members on a trip in to Cow Creek area. It was fine on the Saturday but rained all the way back. There were 10 at Cow Creek Hut that night.
Saturday
Don McMaster's M walk in the Rimutakas ran with only 1 member as no-one else showed up, but he still had an enjoyable time.
Sunday:
Rodney Pfeffer cancelled the Rimutaka Incline bike trip due to bad weather.
Likewise Michael Bartlett's Manganui - Titi walk was cancelled.
