Tramping Reports Wednesday 2010 Sep 08 to Tuesday 2010 Sep 14
Wednesday: Jenny Lewis ran a trip to Pencarrow Lakes, with 17 members. The weather was fantastic, the lakes and sea were blue, there was no wind. They celebrated a life member's 80th birthday with a cake at morning tea.
Kath Offer ran a Ramble from Kelston to Boulder Hill, where they basked in the sun for lunch. 6 members, 1 non-member.
Weekend:
Colin Cook led a M/F walk, a loop on the eastern slopes of Marchant Ridge. 6 members.
Sue Boyde led an impromptu M walk up to the west end of the Pukeatua Ridge, then across the saddle to Kapakapanui. On to the trig, where one member headed for Renata Hut and the other two descended to Ngatiawa Rd. 3 members.
Sunday:
Diana Barnes led an Easy trip up Kaukau. Strong NW winds and low cloud caused them to descend by a more sheltered route than originally planned. 6 members.

NB Colleen Davey can't lead Sun 19th trip to Belmont Trig - Round Hill. Anyone interested in doing this trip should ring Michele Dixon 972 2350 and she'll see if she can get a leader for it.
