Fancy meeting you here!

Wednesday 30 August 2023

On Wednesday 30 August, the Hemi Matenga ridge above Waikanae was buzzing with TTC trampers. The EM group led by Marg Pearce left Tui Crescent headed north along the ridge while Chris Munn led the M party south from Hadfield Road at the other end. There were wild exclamations, challenges with serious hunks of windfall, grandiose claims back and forth about the merits of each leader’s Anzac biscuits, much laughter and general hijinks when the two groups encountered around midday. A charming photo pose followed.
