Holdsworth Creek to McGregor Falls

Six of us (2.5 TTC members, 1 Kaumatua, 1.5 Masterton TC members and Mace the dog) set off on this trip, knowing that some experienced trampers thought the length of the Holdsworth Creek might prevent us from reaching McGregor Falls on a day trip. We took some comfort from hearing that the Masterton TC and the Manawatu TC had succeeded in doing the Holdsworth Lodge/Holdsworth Creek/McGregor Falls/Powell Hut/Holdsworth Lodge circuit in a day.
