Family trip to Red Rocks
Sunday 18th April, 2010
The conditions were relatively pleasant for our walk. While some big waves were coming in, the wind didn't seem unduly concerning (which is always the primary factor when doing the Red Rocks walk). The group of 19 walkers split into different subgroups and walked at their own speed, reflecting the wide age span of the various participants!
As expected, the children (and bigger children) were very keen to spot seals at our lunch spot, and a small number of seals were happy to oblige.
The walk probably took about 4 hours return, and (at least for our family) concluded with ice creams at Lyall Bay.
