Hotcakes
1 cup milk 1 cup rolled oats ½ cup flour 2 tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt 3 Tblspn sugar 1 egg 50 gr melted butter
- soak rolled oats in milk for 10 or more minutes
- sift flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl
- add sugar and egg to milk and oats
- pour melted butter and oats into dry ingredients
- mix, adding extra milk to thin if needed
- spoon onto medium hot frying pan
- turn when bubbles appear and bottom is golden brown
- serve with honey, golden syrup, maple syrup, or buttered
