Photo Competition - 6 September 2005
Dorothy Kane gave us many hints for taking better pictures, and it turned out a most enjoyable evening. Dorothy is a photographer, tramper, and orienteer. She commented on each of the 86 entries, and showed some of her own images to illustrate what makes a successful picture.
We had a much larger digital section than in previous years, but there were plenty of prints. We borrowed stands from Forest & Bird to give a good presentation of the prints. We also had a catalogue and there was about 20 minutes to view the prints and make one's own selections before proceedings started.
